Duck Races (by Mypaige4)—So apparently this is a thing, out in Avoca, Nebraska. The 2012 race was yesterday. I did not go, but I heard someone broke his nose trying to get his duck to cross the line.

I do wonder about possible mental trauma in the animals, though.
