I have been learning some knots recently, you know, for the apocalypse. Here, you can see Xabe is trying to eat my knottin’ post, but I’ve got a firm grip on it yet with an effective tautline hitch. Also of interest in this photo is the monkey fist knot that makes up her orange and yellow rope toy. Like buying a new car, once you start knottin’ you start to see them everywhere.
